All prices on this page are for a standard 3' × 5' window (15 sq ft). Windows are priced by size, so a smaller window costs less and a larger one costs more.
Most homes are a mix. On a typical 12-window job, some windows come in under the starting price and some come in above it. Every quote is itemized window by window — you'll see the price for each opening before you decide. No lump sums, no surprises.
What Drives the Price Up
1. Window size. Sliding glass doors, floor-to-ceiling glass and oversized great room windows cost more — more material and a stronger motor.
2. Motorization. $280 per window, including the motor and remote. Worth it for anything you can't comfortably reach, and for wide sliders where a manual chain is heavy and wears out.
3. Blackout side channels. $50 per channel. Standard blackout fabric still leaks light around the edges. Channels seal both sides and bring light blocking to roughly 98%. Most windows use two.
4. Fabric grade. Within the same product, entry-level and premium fabrics can differ significantly. We bring the full range so you can spend where it matters.
5. High windows. Windows requiring ladder or lift access carry an additional fee, quoted at the measure appointment.

Is there a minimum order?
Yes — we install a minimum of 5 windows per job. This keeps our pricing low, since measuring and installing several windows in one trip costs far less than doing one window at a time. If you only need one or two windows, call us and we'll see what we can do.
What is the cheapest option?
Fauxwood blinds at $99 per standard window installed. They're moisture-resistant, install in 1–2 weeks, and are a common choice for bathrooms, laundry rooms and rental properties.
How much does it cost to motorize a shade?
$280 per window, including motor and remote. If you also want phone control, scheduling or voice control through Google Home, Alexa or Siri, the smart hub is $220 once per home.
How much are blackout side channels?
$50 per channel. Most windows use two, so about $100 per window. They bring light blocking from partial to roughly 98% and are what we recommend for anyone sleeping during the day.
Which products can be motorized?
Roller, zebra, roman, cellular, drapery and outdoor shades. Fauxwood blinds and plantation shutters are manual only.
Why are shutters more than shades?
Shutters are a permanent framed installation built to each opening, with far more material and labor than a rolling shade. They also insulate better and are generally considered a home improvement that adds resale value.
How long does it take?
Fauxwood blinds 1–2 weeks. Roller, zebra, cellular and roman shades 2–3 weeks. Plantation shutters 2-3 weeks. Installation itself is usually half a day.
